Scott Henderson - Director

Scott acts as our designated Health & Safety lead, rigorously ensuring North Base Contracts Ltd maintains full compliance with all statutory duties, internal policies, and CHAS accreditation standards.

Formally trained as an Architectural Technologist, Scott holds a First-Class Honours degree in Architectural Technology from Northumbria University. This technical background provides a unique and vital perspective to the team. With over eight years of experience spanning commercial, educational, and domestic sectors, he possesses deep insight into the entire construction process, from initial design conception and detailed drawing stages through to physical construction and final handover.

Scott’s key value is his ability to read and interpret complex working drawings and Robust Details with precision. He understands the underlying principles and regulatory requirements of these specifications, ensuring the processes required to achieve high-quality, compliant details are rigorously followed. Furthermore, Scott’s experience working directly with professional bodies, including Building Control, allows him to anticipate potential site issues and proactively offer viable design solutions, mitigating risk before it impacts the project programme. He strategically balances office management and administrative compliance with an active site presence, ensuring technical requirements translate seamlessly into safe, efficient, and on-time project delivery.

Raymond Henderson - Director

Raymond is the company's primary client-facing lead, bringing a wealth of supervisory experience from large-scale, multi-million-pound projects. He represents the company at pre-start and site meetings, providing clients, architects, and contractors with clear technical guidance on all partition and ceiling requirements.

Raymond specialises in value engineering. Utilising his extensive product knowledge built over 30+ years in the suspended ceiling and partition industry he frequently identifies alternative materials or installation methodologies. This expertise allows him to confidently offer potential cost and time savings without compromising the original specification or compliance.

Collectively with Michael, Raymond brings a practical background second-to-none in understanding construction methods and materials. His long-standing experience means he has encountered, and successfully resolved, virtually every issue that can arise on site. As an SSSTS-certified working supervisor, Raymond maintains a hands-on presence to ensure meticulous quality control, providing immediate and effective solutions to overcome unforeseen site challenges swiftly.

Michael Loxley - Director

Michael brings extensive specialist knowledge to the team, having previously served as a Contracts Manager on major multi-million-pound developments. He plays a pivotal role in the planning and execution phases, ensuring all works strictly adhere to client requirements and approved drawings.

Michael is known for his meticulous planning skills, which result in highly efficient material usage and minimal construction waste. This dedication to precise scheduling and resource management ensures project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Alongside Raymond, Michael contributes to over 30 years of specialist experience within the suspended ceiling and partition industry, having worked for some of the largest contractors in the country. This practical depth equips him with a superior understanding of complex construction methods. As an SSSTS-certified working supervisor, Michael is actively involved on-site to guarantee that the programme of works is delivered to the highest standard and on time, ensuring quality and compliance are maintained throughout the build.
